Book promotion of “FILMoteka” written by a film critic and our friend Marko Njegić will be held on Friday at 18h in movie theatre “Zlatna Vrata.” His colleague Jurica Pavičić and historian Daniel Rafaelić will be talking about a debute title written by this most active and respectable film critic of his generation.

Mediterranean Film Festival is screening this Thursday one of the most anticipated titles – Spanish film “Marshland“, at 21:30 in summer movie theatre “Bacvice.” It is an extraordinary thriller by director Alberto Rodriguez who won ten Goya awards for this movie, including the ones for best picture, best director, best screenplay and male leading role. Taking into consideration the plot and characters, the movie reminds of HBO series “True detective”, therefore it is a Croatian premiere you should not miss.

Summer movie theatre “Bacvice” is the central location of Mediterranean Film Festival, however during 8th edition of the festival, the interest is growing for other two locations as well. This Tuesday, movie theatre “Zlatna Vrata” was sold out for the screening of Spanish movie “10 000 km” and a greater number of people also visited mini cinema at Art Gallery’s garden where international short films are screened every night.

Unfortunately we had to interrupt the screening of a Spanish movie „Flowers“ last night, due to a summer storm, therefore we owe you another screening.
