Hassan is a security guard who lives an impoverished life with his mother in Cairo and dreams of starting a new life abroad. While plotting his journey to a better life, he stumbles on the sport of blind football and cunningly decides to pose as a visually impaired man to join the team, right before the World Cup Championship finals in Europe. While carrying out his evil plan, he attracts the attention of a young journalist who wants to write a story about the team.

Dramedy based on an incredible true story is the debut film of the Egyptian director Omar Hilal, selected as the Egyptian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards.
