Cinehill Film Festival was founded as Motovun Film Festival in 1999 with its programme dedicated to films from small cinematographies and independent productions, that excel with their innovative approach, ideas and intense stories. For its 25th jubilee edition, the Festival decided to reach a new cinematic peak and moved from the picturesque Istrian town of Motovun to enchanting forests on the mountains of Gorski Kotar, thereby embarking on a new adventure and beginning a completely new story.
Cinehill Film Festival will present a selection of short films screener as part of the Official Copetition programme.

A lonely traveller embarks on a journey to find relief for a hidden yearning. Her restless longing spreads around and forces fellow passengers to face their own desires and disappointments.
Glenn, The Great Nature Lover, Anna Erlandsson, Sweden, 2022., 5'
Glenn loves nature and the mountains. When he meets the love of his life, she turns out to share his interests and they start a new life together on a beautifully situated piece of land near a lake. Anna Erlandsson continues the story about the Guldbagge-awarded sports geek Glenn. This funny animated miniature premiered at the Göteborg Film Festival.
Tremor, Rudolf Fitzgerald Leonard, Germany, 2022., 16'
During water therapy for his chronic spasms, Leon is involved in an incident that gradually disrupts all aspects of his life. Tremor was screened at Cannes (Directors’ Fortnight), TIFF, Interfilm Berlin, Filmfest Dresden, Busan, Leeds, Seattle and many other festivals. At Cinehill 2023 film won jury award for Best Short Film.
