The winner of short film programme 'Ješke' , including Croatian short feature films, received a money prize of 11.000 kunas, provided by our long time sponsor 'Uje'
Tanja Mravak, a successful writer and star of 'Pričigin' (short stories festival) was a part of the jury, as well as Silva Ćapin and Petar Orešković, the authors of last year's film workshop for international market. FMFS, while picking out the members of jury, wanted to emphasize the importance of this type of workshops which this year unfortunately was not funded, but it is expected to continue with its work in 2019.

-I was a part of last year's workshop at FMFS, working on the script for a short feature film 'German Defiance', mentored by the producer Roshanak Behesht Nedjad. The project won at European Short Pitch 2018 and is being funded by Croatian Audiovisual Centre. The filming is going to start this Autumn. This workshop was a perfect start to develop future projects that will be screened luckily one day in front of the audience at this festival. – said Silva Ćapin.
Her colleague Petar Orešković agrees with her.

Last year's workshop for pitching and project development was indeed an exceptional start for the project 'Little Tesla and idea stealers'. Mentor Roshi noticed quickly the flaws of the project and helped us to improve it and bring it up to the next level. After the workshop the project was funded by MEDIA with 50.000 euros, supported as well by Croatian Audiovisual Centre and RE-ACT. We used our experience for project presentation at the market FOCUS ASIA, at Far East film festival in Udinese, and there are couple of other international markets waiting for us ahead – said Orešković.
Company 'Uje' ensured the money prize of 11.000 kn for the programme 'Ješke' in which this year's winner is Veljko Popović and his film 'Cyclists'.

FMFS is one of the most significant events in Split and supporting this festival is a privilege to us that we do not want to renounce easily. Last year we sponsored the workshop that created the script for a short film that is being produced at the moment and we are looking forward to its screening at 12th FMFS. We hope that the workshop will be renewed again next year and this time we are also very pleased to sponsor the award 'Ješke'. It makes us truly happy that the winner is an author from Split who gave the acknowledgment to the great artist Vasko Lipovac. FMFS, but also the other projects that are bringing a positive, urban energy to our city surpressed by primitism, can count as well on our support- said Leopold Botteri, the owner of the company 'Uje'.
