The Spanish thriller "The Realm ", which in open air cinema "Bačvice" is being screened at 21:30 with its regional premiere, reveals what politicians are ready to do to maintain their reputation and influence. The main character in the film, that was directed by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, is a corrupt politician who has been bogged down for using public funds for years, but the party members will after discovering one of the affairs, try to pass the whole blame on him. This is the most awarded Spanish film of the year, and has won seven Goya nationals including those for director, screenplay and main roles.

To better understand the circumstances of this event, director Agostino Ferrente, gave a mobile phone and microphone to two victim’s best friends, Pietro and Alessandro, with instructions to record their own lives. That is how a French-Italian movie "Selfie" was created, premiering this evening at ‘Zlatna Vrata’. Tireless one-year recordings of everyday life created an impressive and entertaining collage as a powerful imageof adolescence, but also of life where the future is often determined by family background.
From Animafest, premiered just a couple of days ago, is the film "Mačka je uvijek ženska" directed by Martina Meštrović and Tanja Vujasinović, who through the prism of feminism are giving a hommage to their professor Marija Ujević Galetović, one of the most significant Croatian sculptors. In this short film which is being screened at Bačvice, with combination of recordings and animations, Marija’s animated female sculptures convey the story and story of their author. At ‘Zlatna Vrata’ there is a premiere of short film "Spirala" of young director Petar Vukičević.
