The Mediterranean Film Festival Split, in collaboration with Filmmakers, the leading casting and selection system in Europe, organizes a two-day workshop"Visibility of Croatian Talent", led by renowned casting directors Kate Rhodes James and Francesco Vedovati.

Kate Rhodes James one of UK's best-know and Emmy & BAFTA nominated Casting Directors, who has worked on projects such as House of the Dragon, Line of Duty, Bodyguard, Gladiator 2, House of Gucci, etc.

Francesco Vedovati is an Italian Emmy-winning Casting Director for his work on the drama series The White Lotus, and has been working on projects such as Ripley, Euphoria, Io Capitano, Dogman, Pinocchio, etc.

The workshop will take place on June 20th and 21st 2025, at Kinoteka Zlatna vrata in Split - the selected participants will be working in two groups 4 hours per day, working on different casting aspects and processes, with a special focus on self-taping and casting preparations.

In addition to the workshop, we will organize a talk "Diversity in Location, Diversity in Talent: Attracting International Productions", taking place on Friday, June 20th at 5 PM at Kinoteka Zlatna vrata.
