The season of enjoying the movies outdoor starts this Friday in the unique setting of the Bačvice Open-Air Cinema, with the winner of last year's Mediterranean Film Festival Split, the great Moroccan film "Life Suits Me Well" by the director and screenwriter Al Hadi Ulad-Mohand.
Since it was not a part of the regular Croatian cinema distribution, this is a unique opportunity to see why exactly this film had won over the audience, who gave it an average rating of a high 4.6.
Kino Mediteran and the Center for Culture and Lifelong Learning Zlatna vrata invite you to spend the rest of the extended weekend with the seventh art under the clear sky. A touch of Hollywood production is brought to you by "The Little Mermaid" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3". Bačvice Open-Air Cinema also participates in the programme marking the 15th anniversary of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, for which the tickets are sold at a symbolic price of 2 euros. The cinema hit from 2013 " The Priest's Children" will be screened, and on the occasion of the Statehood Day, the musical documentary "Louder Than Guns" about the interesting phenomenon of patriotic songs will be shown.
Numerous film surprises, guest appearances and premieres are planned throughout the summer, and the programme will be published on a weekly basis. Tickets are sold at a price of 5 euros for commercial titles and 4.5 euros for independent programmes and dubbed children's films, while for those who plan to go to the cinema more often, the Kino Mediteran loyalty card provides a 0.5 euro discount on the regular ticket price and every fifth visit to the cinema is free.
The box office at Bačvice opens an hour before the beginning of the film, and in the first week of the season, all screenings start at 9:00 p.m. Details about the films, as well as online sales, can be found at www.kinomediteran.hr
