DKE - MEDIA offices from Croatia, Austria and Greece and the Film Centre of Montenegro in cooperation with FMFS are organizing a workshop titled "How to develop and present projects for the international market?", which will culminate in the Pitching Forum in June in Split.
The workshop will offer guidance to professionals, primarily directors and screenwriters, and adequately answer the questions on the most effective ways of preparing and presenting one's own project to the professional public - producers, distributors, sales representatives, but also to the general public - the audience.
German producer Roshanak Behesht Nedjad (In Good Company) is in charge of conducting the workshop.
The workshop is intended for film professionals and students of film departments, primarily directors and screenwriters, with a focus on short feature or documentary film projects (provided that their subject matter is related to Split or the Mediterranean, i.e. that they are filmed in Split or its surrounding area).
Accommodation and stay costs will be covered for participants who are not from Split.
The experienced and renowned German film producer Roshanak Behesht Nedjad is in charge of conducting the workshop (her last film "Mission Ulja Funk" premiered in 2021 as part of the Generation programme of the Berlin International Film Festival). Behesht Nedjad is a member of the European and German film academies and a graduate and mentor of the most famous European educational program for film producers EAVE - European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs.
Up to 8 projects from Austria, Montenegro, Croatia and Greece will be selected for participation.
The workshop will be held from 15 to 17 June, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the final Pitching forum will be held on 18 June at the Zlatna vrata Cinemateque.
