FMFS Industry program is a part of the 15th Mediterranean Film Festival Split, and it is the best one yet. It was attended by film professionals and public alike.
Screenwriters, directors, and producers had a chance to participate in a screenwriting workshop, organized with the help of the Creative Europe Desk- MEDIA Office Croatia and Austria. The workshop was led by the German producer Roshanak Behesht Nedjad who helped the participants to acquire skills on how to prepare and present their own projects to producers, distributers, and sellers.

The workshop ended with a public pitch forum and the best projects were selected: HRK 10 000 (sponsored by the company “Uje”) was won by the project Alone, directed by Filip Dizdar and produced by Benjamin Noah Maričak. And the award for mentorship in developing a full-length feature film went to Ivana Marinić Kragić.
Friday and Saturday were all about gaming and voice; young film professionals had the opportunity to see an interesting panel discussion on games, the history of collaboration between filmmakers and gamers, and the future of working on cross-sectional projects, as well as problems and advantages of creating such projects. They have also learned about the development of game design documents and screenplays, and the main features and differences between screenplays for film and video games, and how to prepare the development of a game based on an idea.
The program also offered a dubbing workshop. The participants were young actors: Danica Katunarić, Denis Tomić, Filip Luka Gospić, Mia Bujan, and Sara Ivelić. The workshop was led by Luka Rukavina, a dubbing director, in his Sensoria studio. The students dubbed two trailers for a Swedish animated film Mamma Moo Finds Her Way Home that had its premiere on June 23rd in Zlatna Vrata cinema as a part of the Litlle Mediterranean program.
