This year's FMFS offers a handful of programme for children of all ages, as well as an outing for the whole family. As part of the "We begin at 0" program, several titles of domestic production were selected, which represent an excellent basis for the further development of viewer appetites. The new titles "Musical Socks", "Journey" and "Letters from the Edge of the Forest", based on picture books, take the little ones on a magical journey of believing in themselves and their own talents, and the eternal classic "Hedgehog's Home" will be shown again.
Those who are a bit older (who can follow the subtitles) awaits a great Norwegian film, "Dancing Queen", a family comedy that will be screened in the evening at Gripe Fortress, they can also catch a rerun on Saturday afternoon at the Zlatna vrata Cinematheque. Dealing with an extremely important topic of today, this film will entertain the audience of all generations.
Admission to film screenings at the Zlatna Vrata Cinematheque "We begin at 0" is free, and after them some of the youngest can check out the children’s workshop, where they will make their own movie posters for the films they have seen. For those aged 8 to 12, we have prepared a workshop "From an idea to a video game" where they will have the opportunity to experience the fun of designing and publishing their own 2D game.

Children’s workshop: From an idea to a video game (FULL!)
*for children ages 8 to 12
Video games are a wonderful way for children to share their unforgettable experiences. They help them learn, communicate and creatively stimulate their imagination. In the workshop, they will experience the fun of designing and publishing their own 2D game. They will build them using the popular game engine GDevelop. We will provide them with all the necessary elements to build their first video game. Then, at the end of the workshop, we will publish their creations on the famous Itch.io page, so that they can share them with their friends.
