Dublin, 1980s. Bobby O'Brien is an eleven-year-old boy obsessed with becoming a great detective like his television hero Kojak. One day, together with his friend Nell, he decides to set up their own private investigation enterprise - all they need is their first case. When Bobby's brother disappears, the duo sets out on a mission across the iconic city of Dublin, applying their detective skills to finding him, and the story of innocence and adventure stumbles into the murky world of criminality and addiction.
Brian Durnin's feature debut is an exciting and moving story of children's dreams in difficult times, masterfully conveyed by the talented acting duo Cillian Sullivan and Naoise Kelly. The film premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
