Internationally renowned conductor Thibault faces a terrible and life-threatening diagnosis. In his search for life-saving stem cells, he discovers that he was adopted and that he has a younger brother Jimmy, who plays the trombone in a small orchestra. The brothers meet and realize they are different in everything - except their love of music. Seeing his brother's exceptional talent, Thibault decides to remedy the injustice of fate, and Jimmy begins to dream of a different life.
