Eid is a young man from Rahat, born into a traditional Bedouin family. He dreams of becoming a playwright and secretly writes a play inspired by a trauma he experienced as a child. He finds solace in a long-distance relationship with an actress in Paris and longs to move in with her. When his parents arrange a marriage against his will, his life takes an unexpected turn, and Eid tries to fight for his freedom and dreams.
The first feature film ever directed by a Bedouin filmmaker gives an invaluable insight into Bedouin culture while telling a universal story of freedom. It premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival.
