BlokadniFEST is a student initiative that emerged after the International Film Festival Belgrade - FEST was postponed this year following major political protests in Serbia. Some of the reasons for the postponement include security concerns, as well as potential politicization of the Festival due to increasing support for students by artists. As a necessary step in the fight against the systematic neglect and degradation of culture, and as another appeal to institutions to do their job, Belgrade students organized blokadniFEST in the city's blocked faculties and venues.

BlokadniFEST will present a selection of short films from their competition programme.
