Mediterranean Film Festival Split organizes tonight at open air cinema Bacvice a Croatian premiere of Spanish hit film 'Uncertain Glory', new work by famous director Augusti Villaronga that won Oscar nomination for his film 'Black Bread' in the category Best Foreign Film. The script was written after a story of Joan Sales, Catalonian poet and writer and the result is a story filled with love, passion, betrayal and humiliations.
Croatian premiere of film 'My World is Upside Down' is held at 19h at cinema 'Zlatna Vrata', a music documentary about an artist Frane Milčinski Ježek, whose songs written in 50s and 60s of last century, today sound more relevant than ever. The director Petra Seliškar who will present the film in person, won 2 awards at SEEfest in Los Angeles including a special acknowlegement by jury.
Always interesting program 'Jeske' that includes short films, today is screening 'Before Dark' by Bojan Radanović' at Bacvice and a premiere of a short documentary film 'Blink' by Jakov Labrović.
Tonight free entrance program at terrace of cinema 'Tesla', that is opened for Split citizens and tourists, organizes guest screenings from partner festivals of FMFS. The first one is Valleta Film Festival that presents independent program, and in Split they are screening five succesful films by directors from Malta.
