The audience of the 18th Mediterranean Film Festival Split once again demonstrated how seriously it approaches its role, enthusiastically selecting its favourites.
The Audience Award in the main Mediterranean programme went to the Italian film Madly (Follemente), with an impressive average rating of 4.83, while the Irish film Spilt Milk took the top prize in the Parangal programme with a rating of 4.74.
“I am especially pleased that the entire Top 10 films have an average rating above 4.6, as this confirms that audiences recognise our year-round work in programming. Thank you to the audience for the large number of votes, which makes these results truly credible,” said Alen Munitić, Artistic Director of FMFS.
Both award-winning films will soon enter nationwide distribution across Croatia. Spilt Milk opens in cinemas on 18 July, followed by Madly from 24 July.
