14 local designers and illustrators interpret film classics from the Klasika Al Fresco program by Kino Mediteran, in the form of a digital print. The collaborations consists of 14 cult films.

NoMAD MOVIE ART 2022 is the first collaboration between Split Nomad Gallery and the Mediterranean Film Festival Split. Visual artists interpret selected movie classics. There is a variety of media, from graphic design and illustration to photography and typography at play - a perfect formula for diverse and original content.

The signed, limited edition posters are premiered at the 15. edition of FMFS, and are available for purchase every day, during all days of the festival, at the location Open Air Cinema Bačvice.

Posters are authors' interpretations of film classics that do not necessarily contain the propriatory information of a movie poster. The authors were given only one requirement – their designs need to instantly allude to the film they are interpreting.

With this collaboration, we combine two branches of art - film and visual art, creating a space for creative exchange within which the audience, attracted by the timeless theme of the cult film, is involved in an interdisciplinary artistic approach.

Through the promotional character of the exhibition our goal is to encourage artistic collaboration, production and education of the audience.
