Summer movie theatre "Bačvice" as the central location of Mediterranean Film Festival Split was sold out for the first two days, however during 9th festival edition there is a great interest for other two locations, movie theatre "Zlatna Vrata" and this year's special location: summer terrace of movie theatre "Tesla"where screenings of foreign short films take place every evening at 21:30.
This Sunday the programme starts at 17h with a free screening of the legendary Croatian film "Družba Pere Kvržice" at "Zlatna vrata". The screening is especially for children in elementary school, as a part of the special programme "Škola u kinu" (op.prev. Class in cinema) organised by Art-kino from Rijeka and Croatian Audiovisual Centre.
At the same location, at 19h, the screening of Josip Lukić's "Minjonja njanjonja" will take place, that will be a sort of an introduction for Turkish film "Abluka" by Emin Alper that has already won 11 awards and Golden Lion nomination in Venice.
The evening at Bačvice will start with an animated movie "Planemo" by director Veljko Popović from Split, whose movie were screened and awarded at many important festivals all over the world. The central film of the day doesn't have to be presented in any particular way, especially if we know that the leading star is a famous French actress Isabelle Hupert and that "Asphalte" by Samuel Benchetrit was included in Cannes programme.
